Although the majority of orders will be processed as normal, the following notes should be considered during this Christmas period.
Our office will be closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays (25th and 28th Dec plus 1st Jan) as normal.
Keeping in Touch
Response to messages will continue but a delay may be experienced on Christmas Day and Boxing Day (25th and 26th Dec).
Stock items will be processed as our normal terms. Non-stock items (roof systems, glazing bars and polycarbonate) will not be processed between midday Friday 18th and Tuesday 5th January. Pre-Christmas delivery of non-stock items is only possible if ordered before midday Friday 18th. Please call us to discuss if your order is time critical.
We endeavour to dispatch all orders placed within 1 working day, but we will dispatch orders on the same working day if payment is received before 1.00pm. Any orders received after 1pm on Friday will not be processed and dispatched until Monday, with the exception of Bank Holiday Mondays.
Standard shipping methods are available to all UK postcodes.
NEXT DAY SERVICES
We are able to offer a next day delivery service on stock items where the order is placed prior to 1pm. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer the 'Next Day' service to the following destinations: Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland & Dublin, Isle of Man, Channel Islands.
Please call 0161 339 4982 for a quote if you require a 'Next Day' service to any of the following postcode areas: HS, IV, KA27 &28, KW, PA, PH, ZE, BT, GY, JE, IM. The regular postal service to the above postcodes is a 3 working day service. Please note that our 'Next Day' courier service does not deliver on a Saturday, any 'Next Day' orders placed before 1pm on a Friday will be delivered on the following Monday with the exception of Bank Holidays. Please call us if you require 'Next Day' delivery on a Saturday as this option is available at an additional cost.
Long Lengths (over 1.5m)
For any product over 1.5m in length we cannot guarantee a ‘Next Day’ delivery service. Products over 1.5m have to be manually handled in some Depots and this can often add 1 – 2 days to the delivery time.
If your order is for an aerosol item, is over 1 metre in length and you live in a remote location such as the Scottish Highlands, offshore islands or Northern Ireland, we may not be able to fulfil your order or have to add a levy surcharge to cover the extra carriage to these areas.
Should this be the case we will contact you with the option of either paying the surcharge or cancelling the order. Remote postcodes include AB30-AB38, AB40-AB56, BT, FK17-FK21, G83, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA27-KA28, KW, PA20-PA99, PH, TR21-TR25, ZE.
COLLECTION (from our Warehouse)
To collect your order from our Warehouse, simply choose 'Collect in Person' as the Shipping Method. We shall call you if there is a problem preparing the order, so be sure to provide a contact telephone number when ordering. Stock items are usually available for collection 1 business day from order being placed. To enquire about early collection or non-stock items like polycarbonate, please call 0161 339 4982.
